Co-creating a Beautiful Sustainability Standard for Arts and Cultural Organisations

The arts and cultural sector is eager to become more sustainable but lacks a dedicated global standard. Most existing frameworks come from other fields and do not fit the sector’s diversity and public role, highlighting the need for a tailored approach.

Participants in the webinar will learn from practices related to sustainability data collection, reporting, and monitoring frameworks used by members of the Culture for the Planet Alliance, including:

Australian Museum
Bühnen Graz
Göteborg Opera
Building on these insights, participants will be invited to co-develop ideas that contribute to an ongoing global standardisation process. The NEB values will guide this work, helping to shape a standard that is inspiring, robust, and inclusive.
